Gretsch has unveiled their new G6229TG Limited Edition Players Edition Sparkle Jet BT, which as you may have noticed are sparkly as fuck. The guitars come in Champagne Sparkle and Ocean Turquoise Sparkle finishes, both featuring black pickguards, Bigsby bridges, and gold hardware.
The G6229TG Sparkle Jet BTs offer chambered Mahogany bodies with Arched Laminated Maple backs, Gretsch Broad’Tron BT65 pickups designed by Tim Shaw, and lowered Mahogany necks (and Ebony fingerboards) that greatly improve fret-hand mobility. The Jet BT also comes equipped with a no-load master tone pot with Squeezebox capacitor, a master volume with treble bleed circuit, and individual pickup volume controls.
