One of the newest companies in our world, Techivation, has just released T-Clarity, the follow up to T-Compressor.
If you're familiar with Techivation you'll notice T-Clarity broadly follows a similar ethos to their plugin T-De-Esser. T-Clarity enhances and clears the mid, lower, and upper mid-range frequencies of any sound it encounters.
Techivation released T-De-Esser in 2021, with the aim of creating an easy-to-use plug-in that would help to smooth out high frequencies in a musical and natural manner. T-Clarity follows the same rules but adds extra clarity to the mid and upper mid frequencies. CEO Amin Asbaghipour explains:
“The most common method people use to fix muddy and ‘boxy’ sounds is to use an EQ and cut down certain mid frequencies that may be causing issues. The problem with using EQs is that it may change your audio’s balance and take out some of the mid-range power of the sounds since, in most cases, the muddy and boxy sounds only appear in select portions of the audio. A more pragmatic way is to use a dynamic EQ, but it is often a time-consuming and less straightforward way of getting the full potential out of a track. Now what T-Clarity does is save you time and effort, while it does its unique magic to clean up the mid frequencies only when muddiness and boxiness appear, without causing artifacts or changing the audio frequency spectrum balance of a track.”
Those who purchase both T-De-Esser Pro and T-Compressor or already own both get this plug-in for free.
All Techivation plug-ins can be downloaded in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats for any compatible DAW.
What about Apple M1? Techivation plug-ins also support the Apple M1 chip natively.
