Ex-Turnstile guitarist charges upgraded to first degree murder

As you likely know, former Turnstile guitarist Brady Ebert was recently charged with attempted murder. Ebert allegedly tried to run over the father of Turnstile singer Brendan Yates with his car. The DA has upgraded charges from second degree murder (attempting to kill someone without malice aforethought) to first degree murder (attempting to kill someone with malice aforethought). This means, where Ebert was facing a possible 30 year sentence, he is now facing possible life in prison. Ebert has not entered a plea to the new charges. We'll keep you updated.
