New Manhattan Club Flash Factory Has Cirez D and More Coming Up

Published: January 27, 2016

Flash Factory—the new Manhattan nightclub set to open this weekend after a snowstorm-related false start—has revealed its first slate of DJ bookings. Following the announcement of Turbo Recordings boss Tiga for opening night on Friday, January 29, the club is committed to keeping the house and techno coming. The next night, Saturday, January 30, New Jersey native DJ Qu will bring the 4/4 alongside Phil Moffa and Filsonik.

Flash Factory has also secured two big names for February: Hot Creations main man Jamie Jones on Friday, February 5, who always pulls a big crowd in New York, and Eric Prydz under his dark, after-hours guise Cirez D on Saturday, February 13. The Prydz booking will follow his show with the full EPIC 4.0 production earlier that night at nearby venue Terminal 5.

One of Flash Factory’s founders Michael Satsky, the face of previous New York club ventures Stereo and Provocateur, recently told the New York Times that the team has “relationships with talent that go way back, so booking is not a super big concern.”

Upcoming Flash Factory guests:

Friday 29 Jan – Tiga
Saturday January 30 – DJ Qu, Phil Moffa & Filsonik
Friday February 5 – Jamie Jones
Saturday February 13 – Cirez D
