Former Migos member Offset is in stable condition and being treated at a hospital after being shot last night (April 6) outside the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Fl., although his specific condition is unclear.
Florida police have detained two individuals in connection with the shooting and have declared the area “secure” and without further threats to the public. The 34-year-old Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was formerly married to rapper Cardi B and has three children with her. He previously served several months in jail in 2015 on felony drug and weapons charges.

The Florida incident is eerily similar to the November 2022 shooting that killed Offset’s cousin and fellow Migos member Takeoff at a Houston bowling alley.
Offset released his third solo album, Kiari, in August 2025. The third Migos member, Quavo, has actively campaigned against gun violence in the years since Takeoff’s murder.
