Exclusive Track Premiere: Dead Now’s “Slow Beam”

Published: September 22, 2020

In the mood for some totally killer, groovy, fuzzed-out, weed-friendly melodic heavy rock? Look no further than Atlanta’s Dead Now! Featuring current and former members of Torche, Riddle of Steel, Tilts, and Day Old Man, Dead Now write trippy, hooky, kaleidoscopic jams sure to appeal to fans of bands like Baroness, Big Business, and Kylesa.

MetalSucks is chuffed to premiere “Slow Beam,” the band’s first new song since their self-titled 2018 debut EP. Says the group of the track:

“Recorded in early March with our main squeeze, Andrew Wiggins, we’re super stoked to share this track. Could’ve and should’ve been on the debut, had it been done, it sits in so well with the other jams. Please play as loud as possible.”

Turn your speakers up AS LOUD AS THEY WILL GO and blast “Slow Beam” below. The track has been paired with their Dead Now’s EP for a limited edition cassette release, which is available here. The trio is currently writing their full-length debut, which is tentatively planned for a 2021 release via Brutal Panda Records!
