Biography
New Pokerface equals raw energy, aggression, melody and diversity. With their album "Another Day, Another Religion" the punk rock band received excellent reviews and is now trashing the stages all over Europe.

Formed in 2006, New Pokerface; Tim Klaassen (guitar & vocals), Erik Hermeler (bass & vocals) and drummer Thomas Frankhuijzen, decided to make fast, powerful, but yet melodic punkrock
The band didn't simply want to make good music, they wanted to spread a message; to bring out the best in yourself, without depending on others. A message about breaking boundaries, breaking with what keeps you down.
After just six months the band released their EP 'Act The Animal', which got many positive reviews in different magazines, like Up-Magazine and Live-XS. Within two months the first printing was sold out and a second printing was necessary to meet demands.
During 2007 the band proved that they could meet expectations with their live shows. It was clear the band is even more energetic on stage, than on CD.
Along with more shows and good reviews, came bigger shows. In a period of just one year New Pokerface shared the stage with bands like The Gaslight Anthem, The Undeclinables, and Peter Pan Speedrock.
In 2008 the band decided that they were ready to release their first full-length album. In march they joined forces with Split Second Sound Studios (Textures, Malkovich) and started recording. On July 4th the bands debut album "Another Day, Another Religion" was released. The album features everything New Pokerface stands for; raw energy, aggression, melody and diversity. "Another Day, Another Religion" got excellent reviews, not only in The Netherlands, but also in Belgium, France and Italy. Soon the album even became album of the month in Musicmaker.
Now New Pokerface has played over 80 shows, toured Germany, France and Spain and is continuing hitting the road and trashing stages!
