NERLICH

NERLICH was formed in the end of year 2003 and released its self titled debut demo in February 2004. However, the band wasn’t really satisfied with the result and recorded a second demo with a new line-up a couple of months later. The second demo, titled “INSANE CREATIONS – INORGANIC ECHOES”, was recorded in October 2004 at Cursed Studio by J.Loikas. This time the band was really happy with the result and the five song demo gained a lot of recognition in the underground, especially after NIHLISTIC HOLOCAST included it on “EMBALMED MADNESS” split in April 2005.



The next release, “Promo 2005”, was recorded again with a new line-up, but the result suffered a lot from poor production, because the engineer didn’t know how to record death metal. In the end of year 2005 NERLICH began the recording of their first full length album “DEFABRICATED PROCESS”. The album was finished in January 2006 and it was recorded by J.Loikas at Cursed Studio.



In May 2006 CONQUEROR OF THORNS RECORDS released a demo compilation, titled “SUBSTANTIAL ALTERATION…”, including all NERLICH demos. At the same time the band signed to OLD SCHOOL METAL RECORDS and the label released NERLICH’s debut album “DEFABRICATED PROCESS” in January 2007.



The line-up changed again after recording the full length album, but the band didn’t give up and went to record a 4-song ep, titled “INNARDS. The release of “INNARDS” was extensively delayed until it was finally released in summer 2008. After getting fed up with all the problems surrounding the band NERLICH was put on rest in October 2008. One year later “INNARDS” was re-released on tape by NIHILISTIC HOLOCAUST.
