The BASS CULTURE REVUE is an original Alternative Neo-Soul band influenced by R & B, reggae, jazz, rock, Latin, West African, and ska. Besides picking from our catalog of 170 or so original songs, we also perform a few fine covers by the likes of Joss Stone and Corinne Bailey Rae. Our show opens with a short set by ABU & GARY on acoustic guitars and vocal, accompanied by Malian kamelngoni, calabasse or djembe, and Yoruba singer Kola Adesokan. This beautiful music establishes the roots of where the music of Bass Culture comes from. Next up is seasoned Trinidadian lead singer NEZ B (Ernesto Browne), followed by emerging phenomenon MORAIMA on lead vocals.
