Nels Cline Plays His '60 Fender Jazzmaster (solo) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 31, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
In conjunction with the Fretboard Journal #28's essay on the magic of the Fender Jazzmaster, we asked Wilco's Nels Cline to do a quick video demonstration of why he loves his 1960 JM so much. Here, on the stage of Seattle's Paramount Theater before a Wilco gig, he shows us the wide range of tones he's able to get from his instrument.

Fender fans should also note the Fretboard Journal #28 issue also sports an interview with one of the Jazzmaster's earliest practitioners, George Tomsco of the Fireballs.
