Necromance

Necromance was formed in August 2004 by siblings Jeff (Guitars) and Sarah (Vocals) Teets along with good friend Kalin Schweizerhof (Drums). Shortly thereafter Kalin was forced to depart, succeeded by drummer Nick Andreas, in addition to would-be long-standing second guitarist John Weslowski. After extensive writing and rehearsing, the band made their debut on March 2005. Over next year the band would play about a dozen other shows, in addition to recording a self-produced demo and finding bassist Chad Hontz. After a break in late 2006, the band reformed in early 2007 with original drummer Kalin Schweizerhof. The next 2 years were very fruitful for the band - as they went on to perform close to 30 more shows, and eventually recording their acclaimed demo CD, "Never look Back" - albeit after parting company with guitarist John Wesolowski. In 2009 the band had a stint with drummer Joe Marvin which unfortunately broke them up temporarily. As of June 2010, the band's original 3 members (Jeff Teets, Sarah Teets, and Kalin Schweizerhof) are back together once again, and seeking to make the band the best and biggest they've been yet.

Extensive songwriting has commenced, with plans to write almost a full new album's worth of material before the end of 2010. The band is planning on gigging occasionally but new material and eventually a new recording are primarily in cards.

To date the band has played over 50 shows, including opening for Jon Oliva's Pain, Circle II Circle, Overkill, Raven, George lynch, Manticora, Doro, Chris Caffery, and many others.
