NAVEL

Hardly anyone can resist the Basel-based rock band NAVEL. Rock is in the musicians' blood, and their throbbing psychedelic music has gained them fans well beyond the Swiss border. In 2012 NAVEL have been on the road with a new line-up. The group now has four members instead of three, and there have been a number of other changes. Bassist Michael Christ and drummer Steve Valentin have both left the group and been replaced by Marco Näf and Martin Huber. Massimo Tondini has also joined, adding another guitar, as well as percussion and the organ. NAVEL have already played more than 300 concerts with this new line-up, in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Belgium and the USA. They have also opened shows for other bands. On 29th July 2012 NAVEL had the honour to play at the Montreux Jazz Festival. They will be presenting songs from their new, third album, which is out in winter 2013 on Nois-o-lution Records Berlin.
