The singular playing of Living Color's Grammy-winning drummer has impacted rock, jazz, world music, hip-hop, film, art and more. 2013 heralds Calhoun's long-awaited recording debut as a jazz leader. Famous for his Grammy-winning work with Living Colour, Will has recorded, toured and performed with such diverse artists as Living Colour, Mick Jagger, Oumou Sangare', Mos Def, and Wayne Shorter to name a few. His forthcoming CD explores his jazz roots and includes Ron Carter, Donald Harrison, Marc Cary, Charnett Moffett, and Wallace Roney.
