A Brazilian from Belo Horizonte, reveals herself for her versatility and has been considered as one of the new MPB promises due to her outstanding performance on stage and strong voice tone.
Even not having any musical heritage influence, her interest for music started on her early ages. When she was eight, enjoyed time singing Aretha Franklin and performing a Tina Turner style.
She has participated of several musical concerts and joined bands with different music styles, gaining a lot experience on stage.
Besides her passion for hip hop, the Brazilian roots were always present on Nathy's songs. She wrote "Meu esquema", "De repente", "Só escuta o som", "Areia, mar e sol" and Tempestade".
Nathy founded "Bala Black" band and was its singer for three years. In 2008, she was invited to study jazz in Portugal and develop a solo carrier in Europe. While there, she presented on festivals and events getting the chance to solidify her musical plans.
An year and half after joining this new experience, transformed and with new ideas, Nathy regressed to Brazil to record her first solo album.
Translating her musical taste, she classifies her music as MEB (Música Espontânea Brasileira) or SBM (Spontaneous Brazilian Music), genuinely Brazilian, although without any type of musical gender labeling. There is a mix of R&B, soul, rap, afrobeat, and electronic elements.
The concert brings the tropical Brazil swing, mixed with the latest launches of global music. The playlist includes songs written by Nathy as "Mais", "Meu esquema", "Açúcar" and "Insônia".
Completing ten years of artistic career, Nathy waited for the right timing to produce her first album.
Now, her musical knowledge gets unified with her feelings, transmitting real music to the audience by talking about the world we live in.
"Saindo do lugar" or "getting out of place" was the name chosen for the disco. This name goes with the movement suggested by the songs, once slow, once imperatives, composed by lyrics of someone confident of her wishes, looking for something new, always chasing for a place.
"Getting out of place" also means something that doesn't match. Music is everywhere and does not need a place to fit, reserved for it. Good songs don't require labels or segmentations, they define themselves when played.
Nathy Faria's manifest is translated thru 10 songs, talking about the city, the world, how it is to be a women, love, the chase for dreams, and everything that build our thoughts.

Sempre estudando e se aperfeiçoando, participou de vários espetáculos musicais e bandas de vários estilos musicais, de onde pôde tirar muita experiência .
A essência brasileira sempre esteve muito presente nas músicas de Nathy, e o Hip Hop é uma cultura que ela ama e leva consigo. Com uma passagem marcante pelo rap, Nathy compôs "Meu esquema", "De repente", "Só escuta o som", "Areia, mar e sol" e "Tempestade", ambas parte de coletâneas no Brasil.
Foi fundadora e vocalista da banda "Bala Black", onde permaneceu por três anos. Em 2008, recebeu um convite para estudar Jazz em Portugal e desenvolver sua carreira solo na Europa. Por lá, estudou, se apresentou em festivais e eventos e pôde amadurecer as ideias musicais.
Um ano e meio depois, transformada e com novas propostas, voltou para o Brasil para gravar seu primeiro disco solo.
