My Were They is a three piece rock music combo based out of Chicago. They have been on the radio, played at south by southwest, played a lot of shows, and self released a record called Epigrams and Interludes a few years ago. Shortly thereafter, a record called After They Threw Me In the River and Before I Drowned finally saw the light of day. A new EP, entitled Four Songs, is available here.

Just listen to some mp3's of them. I've listened to this little record [after they threw me in the river.] a couple of times now and I can see a band forming here, I mean like a band that will be in the Hot Indie Rock section of iTunes.

Actually, the drummer was the most talented member of the band. He played with a bizarre clattering, scattered style that could get really heavy when necessary. Brilliant drumming!
