Myster DL (Mr. D.L.) is an artist on the rise. He is a lyricist,
producer, DJ, engineer, booking agent, weed cultivator promoter, manager and much
more.
Myster DL is a crucial member of 100MAD with Sticky Fingaz and Fredro
Starr as well as a member of Space Cadets with Redman, Dollarmentary,
Vinny Idol and many more. Myster DL's style is dark and grimey
touching subects from street life to marijuana cultivation to politics
to everyday topics.
His 1st album 'The Calm Before The Storm" was a underground success
gaining Myster DL a nomination for Unsigned Hype in The Source
Magazine as well as many great reviews.
Myster DL has produced AND collaborated with many of Hip Hop's legends
and heavy weights including
B-Real of Cypress Hill, Onyx, Kool G Rap, Heltah Skeltah, Flipmode
Squad, Main Flow, Edo G, Gangstarr Foundation and many more.
Myster DL most recently released 'The Final Evacuation" which was done
completely by Myster DL. No one else worked on this album in any way,
he did ALL the production on a Roland Fantom6 , lyrics, recording,
artwork, mixing and mastering in his home studio 'The Tomb' in Lowell
MA in 2010.
Myster DL is considered a drifter, he has spent significant time in
many regions from New York, Miami, Humboldt County CA, Lowell MA and
more. His style could be described as a moshpit meets a smoke session
and his live show is full of energy and crowd participation.
Myster DL runs ILL Mannered Records which has artists worldwide and
is currently working on the 3rd part to his series 'The Storm" as well
as an album of all smoke/grow songs called 'Something About Mary"
