MutuM. Symphonic metal agroupation born in the year 2001. / Their discography counts with two demos and one Album. /
2002. "Regreso al Paraíso". /
In this year they recorded their first demo called "Regreso al paraíso". Using it as backup, they had the oportunity to be the opening group in Paul Dianno's soloist concert (Mty). /
2004. "Sua Nostalgia". /
Their second Demo was recorded. With this album begins their curiosity for including strings and opera choirs to their songs. /
Due to the fast acceptance of this album, they had the chance to share stage with national and international bands in the "Monterrey Metal Fest Pre-Party (2005)". Elfonía, Ira, Luzbel, Transmetal, Cristal y Acero, Antón, Ignitor (USA), Neil Turbin (USA) & Beyond Fear (USA) formed part of this event. /
2006. "Redemption". /
Their first album "Redemption", was recorded in the year 2006. Mutum was invited to play in the Monterrey Metal Fest Vol. III, the Latin America's most important metal fest. There, they shared stage with with agroupations as: Blind Guardian (Germany), UDO (Germany), Edguy (Germany) , Leaves Eyes (Norway) , Maligno (Mexico), Obituary (USA), Reign of Terror (USA) among others. /
Thanks to the acceptance and innovator proposal of this album, they were invited to play in national events sharing stage with After Forever (Holland, 2006), The Gathering (Holland, 2006), Rata Blanca (Argentina, 2007), Tristania (Norway, 2008), Haggard (Germany, 2009). /
2007. MutuM thad the honour to be invited to play in the inauguration and clousure of the "ZONA FORUM" in The Universal Forum of Cultures Monterrey 2007 (September 21 and November 11) Both ocations accompanied by the U.A.N.L.'s "Sagitario" orchestra. /
Nowadays Mutum are: Myrthala Bray (voice), Roy Cantú, (lead guitar), Carlos Salazar (rhythm guitar), Hiram Aguirre (keyboards), Diego Martínez (bass) and Juan de Dios Martínez (drums).
