In 2007 Musth recorded a demo cd which was well received and sold out in about 4 months. After the release of this demo cd, we played a lot of shows in 2007-2008.
In the year 2009 wetook things a bit slower and we took some time off to write some new songs for an upcoming full length debut album.
After a year of hard working, writing and prerecording, we started the final recordings of the album in the summer of 2009. Recording sessions were engineered by Jens Wouters and Jimmy Turbo and produced by Jimmy Turbo.
During the month of september-october, we recorded the vocal lines and the piano and "stuff" lines.
In the month of december we were ready to lay the final hands on the recording process of the album, so we went 4 days to the sugarbeat studios in Bunsbeek where Jimmy Turbo made the final mixes.
The album was mastered in february by Uwe Teichert and so it was finally ready!
From that moment on, the quest for a record label was born.
In the month of march, we got the exciting news that the record label that we always wanted was interested in releasing our album.
That's where we can say that the Musth family is very happy and proud to join the FUNTIME RECORDS family.
Thanks to all of you guys for your support and dedication during these neverending 2 years.
We parted ways with Simon, and Tim (ex Sludge Phenomenon, Black Harvest) joined the band, and re-recorded the vocal tracks for the full-length.
