Created in 2002, Encore is comprised of GENO (23) from Alexandria, VA JROC (25) from Philadelphia, PA STEVIE (22) from Portsmouth, VA, B.Hollywood (24) and Vaughn (24) from Dale City, VA. They developed their vocal and instrumental abilities as they participated in church and school choirs, local amateur groups, talent shows and more. Continuous hard at work and dedication has allowed ENCORE to deliver a provocatively unique sound. Encore has much respect and admiration for many artists from R&B greats such as Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Stevie Wonder, Jagged Edge, Musiq Soulchild, Tank, Missy Elliot, Timbaland, The Neptunes, to pop sensations Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Linkin Park, Creed, M5 and many others. While forging their way to stardom they have also had the opportunity to perform and open for prominent acts in the music industry, such as Mr. Cheeks @ 2K9 in Washington, D.C. and Rap star Lil' Kim at The Lincoln Theater in Washington, D.C. They have also worked with Mrs. Evelyn Braxton and Crystal Waters even being fetaured on her Vh1 special "Where are they now".
