Murray James

Set to join tips for 2011 such as the Vaccines and Claire Maguire, Murray James was signed to Deconstruction by Mike Pickering. The 21 year old soul-singer from Milford On Sea draws on faultless classic soul influences, writing his own songs and singing in his own inimitable style, owner of a gravely, careworn voice which belies his tender years.
Nominated for the Q magazine Next Big Thing Award, Murray's live performances have been likened to that of Adele and John Mayer. He is currently working on his debut album between the UK and the states.
