Since 2005, Murder has attempted to construct intense, progressive, and emotionally engaging music. Using a multitued of influences, both musicial and otherwise, the band has created a style that is immediately and uniquely their own, while still retaining hints of the great artists that helped to shape it.

After forming in 2005, the Antioch, California based band went through some member changes which grew the bands fan base and musical identity. The first evolution culminated in the realease of the band's first EP "Carefully Scrutinizing the Affairs of the Past". Recorded at Sacramento's Deathbot Studios, the EP was indicative of the style and substance the band was creating. Hook oriented choruses mixed with intense and emotional verses, all while maintaining a consistently progressive musicality. This first EP gave Murder the trajectory needed to forge ahead.

Following the release of "Carefully Scrutinizing", the band played a successful CD release show which lead to a series of concerts throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The success of these shows subsequently gave Murder over 10,000 fans their MySpace page, and an offer to play at the SXSW festival in Austin, TX. After careful deliberation, Murder decided that they needed more material before heading south of the Mason-Dixon line. The band went on hiatus to re-group and work on what would become their first full-length album.

Years in the making and chocked full of blood, sweat, and cash, the aptly tilted "All the Blood Money Can Buy" will be released in the Summer of 2011. Recorded at Fremont's Panda Studios over countless sleepless nights, the album features songs written by all members of the band which has dramatically expanded the range of each song and the album as a whole. Picking up where the first EP left off both musically and thematically, the album pushes these familar aspects to their furthest logical conclusions, creating something wholly original and equally satsifying
