Mz.Goonette Da Murdah Mami was a creative child from the day she was born! Growing up, she used poetry as a way to escape the emotions of everyday life. Her poetry slowly grew into what would later become her rhymes. As she practiced rapping them out to herself, it started to become addictive. She would sit and write rhymes all day. People that know Mz.Goonette Da Murdah Mami could tell you, you won't see her without a pen and pad close by.
Everyone told her she was good at what she did and with a little persuasion she started performing. Her first performance was at a club called Planet Rock in Jacksonville, NC. She started rapping through the crowd and when she hit the stage, jaws dropped. Not having access to a studio this was the only way to get her music heard, so she continued to perform.
She linked up with another female emcee, Lady M! They came together and formed a group called MOB QUEENZ! At that time Mz.Goonette/Murdah Mami was running under the alias Lady Felon. After a few years she branched off to do her solo. Where she became who u know "Murdah Mami". She released her album "Da Ill Spitta" and a Mixtape with various artist. In 2010 she changed stage names to Mz.Gonnette. "Too many people biting my name (Murdah Mami)". She is now in the midst of creating her next album "HOOD PRINCESS" and Mixtape (not yet titled).She is now in the process of working on the MOB QUEEN Album as well. Doing numerous performances throughout Miami. El Colmillo's, and Bohemio's
"Mz.Goonette Da Murdah Mami," brings force behind her flow, a free spirit on the mic. With the power to bend her lyrical skills it's a guarantee to catch your ear, A very strong appeal!! Her versatility allows her to get her point across and still make everyone vibe to her. This Miami-bred emcee has locally earned a name for herself with multiple collaborations wit upcoming artist, open mic performances, radio interviews, and magazine reviews! She is definitely needed on the scene to bring that extra flavor to hip hop! Her love and passion for the music business is unbelievable. She is constantly in the booth and hard at work, making music for those who long for original beats, original flow and musical integrity; Hip Hop, the way it was meant to be.
