Pure chaos, binge drinking, partying and all-out insanity are some of the first few thoughts when first coming across Orlando, FL natives Critical Madness (CM). Critical Madness is the combination of emcees cRITICAL and Madness, two minds put together to create raw music with intricate concepts and pure lyricism, reminiscent of hip-hop's golden era but still fresh to the day. With both of these human natural disasters roaming Central Florida, it was only a matter of time before they crossed paths within the Ozone (Orlando) music scene. Both cRITICAL and Madness both hail from a strong battling background and eventually had to face off at the now-infamous H.U.S.H. shows held at UCF. If it was not Madness taking the crown each week, cRITICAL was filling his place and vice versa. Comparing their love of the art they decided to form an alliance and thus a monster was born.

They immediately began recording and distributing their own cd’s throughout the entire east coast building an enormous buzz. The spark that lit the fire under the CM train was their Fat Beats distributed and TEMPERMENTAL produced debut single "1st Amendment" (ft Sabac Red of Non Phixion)/"Dropped" was sold worldwide and reached its peak at Number 2 on College radio and www.RapAttackLives.com. Following the release of “1st Amendment”, their mixtape "Finding The Plot" iand second single "Meal Tickets" were unleashed on the masses like a ravenous plague. Every Critical Madness release has gained nothing but praise and has kept true to their theme of being who you want and saying what you feel.

They have shared the stage with the likes of The Beatnuts, Little Brother, dead prez, Memphis Bleek, Keith Murray, Souls of Mischief and others. Critical Madness has appeared on various radio shows including The Wolrd Famous “Wake Up Show” with Sway & Tech and even DJ Eclipse's "Halftime 8 Year Anniversary Show" alongside legends and more. Their battle reputations have also garnered them worldwide acclaim when it comes to any emcee challenge showing the well-roundedness of both cRITICAL and Madness. Their debut album "Bringing Out The Dead" released through Domination Recordings, features collaborations with Slaughterhouse front man Joell Ortiz as well as Sabac Red, Young Zee, long-time collaborator Little Vic and others. Covering the production side, TEMPERMENTAL produced the bulk of the LP with TzariZM adding his own brand of sickness to the stew. Marco Polo and DC the MIDI alien also contributed to the soon-to-be classic. Words cannot describe the album itself. It is the experience of a lifetime and gives a slight peek into the influences that created this duo.

With even more projects on the horizon, including “Hidden Agenda” with good friends Little Vic and TzariZM, Critical Madness looks like they will be keeping their unique spot in hip-hop for a very, very long time.
