Moulettes are a folk-stomping barn-storming swinging quintet, and are available for bookings in
barns, fields, tents and taverns,
churches, castles, caves and caverns,
dens of iniquity, jukebox dives,
havens of pleasure, splendour and vice.
Featured in their orchestra of delight is cello, bassoon, guitar, violin, autoharp, kazoo, drumkit, zabumba, pandeiro, washboard and 5-part harmonies. Their songs are narrative driven alliterative epics of depravity, decadence and delirious devastation, and they deliver a rollicking, resounding live set when called upon.They are signed to the independent label 'Balling the Jack' and are also part of the Southampton based co-operative label, Sotones.
