Now for the story:
Born on the plains of mid-atlantic america, andrew benrubi was born with a dream: world domination. he slept with sara mittens and sang to her as she lay upon his sister stefani's bed. she noted his talent (stefani, not the cat), and with stefani on drums, and drew on guitar and vox, they formed a humbly unnamed band. after several hours, days, months, etc. of jammin, a nearly complete set of songs had formed--with some gaps here and there. at this point, they realized they needed more people, so they began a course of rigorous auditioning that lasted for hours, days, months, etc. until finally, they had the perfect combination. jessica kramer joined on bass, foster longo on keys, and kim on guitar. they began to sing and called it mother mallard. but as the days grew short kim could not find her time to make it, and though we love her, she had to go. so now mother mallard is a quartet. They recorded a five song demo/ep in mid 2005 and are gettin back in the studio for a full length and also the wynne compilation(Songs of Wynne) in 2006.
