Jonathan Tabb a.k.a Moss B admits to having different people inside of him. Which MOSS B do you know?



Do you know the Decatur,Georgia born and bred music lover wo was taking piano lessons when he was 8 years old ? Or the 10-year old kid who got a drum machine instead of a bike for Christmas. The dude around the corner who grew up listening to everything from Raheem the Dream to the Commodores.



If he doesn't sound familiar, you probably know Moss B the athlete. The one who was a Columbia High School basketball star. Yeah, the same one who started making underground rap tapes with friend and producer Jimmy Swagger during his senior year. The one who landed a scholarship at Savannah State University but ended up being known for performing at talent shows.



Maybe you know Moss B THE rapper. The one made the 'hood favorite "Rob and Steal" which got major spins at the famed Poole Palace. The one who reminded you of artists like Z-Ro and Playa Fly. The one who used to call himself "The Crunkest Man Alive" but has grown into a more balanced artist that has shared the stage with likes of Young bloodz,Bohagon,Bone Crusher

and his 105 Entertainment label mate Big Floaty.



"my music is goining to fill the void for people that ain't been heard," he says. "Everybody wanna be gangsta or a drug dealer. I'm not doing that, Im making songs for people who ain't drug dealers, but ain't suckas either."



If you know Moss B, you may recall a time when he was actually one of the people he is aming to reach now. He was the wild one who experienced everything from getting shot to going to prison. The one who was involved in a high speed chase with the police and wound up on the undesired side of their guns. The one who realized out of all his personalities, the reckless one would have to to be put on hold.



"Some of the things that I like to do but can't do anymore, I rap about through my alter ego, "he says. "But I try to make people understand that you can't live long like that."



With a wide range of songs like the brutally honest "Fucked up, " The inspirational "On Da Line" featuring Playboy Tre, and the confrontational "war" featuring underground legend Kinpin Skinny Pimp, Moss B is proving that he is not afraid to show his personalities. After one listen to his music,you won't be afraid to do the same.
