Mortuus Caelum

"Mortuus Caelum" was formed in Athens (Hellas) in 2004 by Gareth (guitars, bass, vocals) and Geegor (drums),and its music could best be described as a mix of Norwegian and Hellenic elements.
The band recorded in 2004 its first demo-tape "Iners Imperetor",featuring 4 tracks, and in 2005 its second demo-cd "Bright Innocence of Nature".
During that period of time, Drakhon (bass) was recruited, and with this line-up the band started performing live at various stages.
In 2006, after having inked a deal with "Blackmetal.com Records",
the band released its first full-length album "Macto Interitum Mundi" and at the same time produced its first music video "Segregate World".
More live shows were to follow, and in 2007 the band's second full-length album "Ventus Infesto" was released by "O.B.S.E. Productions".
What is more, the band also managed to release one split-tape with "Hrizg" in 2008 via "Final Embrace Records", and a split-cd with "Winds of malice" in 2009 via "December's Ghost Records".
As for 2011 the band consists of :
Geegor:Drums,Bass,Guitars
Gareth:Guitars,Vocals
and has completed its 3d album entitled "Ad libertatem per mortem" to be released by WAR Productions in january 2012
