The beginnings of monroe dating back to early 2006, in which members who were at that time, they joined in the creation of own songs, drawing influence genres like hardcore and metalcore States and Europe, with the passage of time and with an acceptable amount of tracks to perform for the public, began the shows, which were increasing with time, thus the name of Monroe began to be known within the scene of Santiago and nationally, with many shows already by that time in mid 2007, they released their first ep "where darkness shows its colors" which tube a fairly positive reception inside the public. Already in 2008 MONROE, begins to lose its original members, which produces a musical break and instability, it's about that time in mid 2008 and early 2009 when the band re-arm, with new members, new ideas and new expectations, and with the new formation MONROE slowly begins to reappear in shows and work in a material future, where we can demonstrate the strength and energy of the band sounds more technical and more expermimentales concerning metal hardcore avant-garde.
