MONKZART born in the Westcoast born into the birth of hip hop. At the age of 5 monk attended a concert Headlined by his father and uncles group called, "Pleasure" A 70's, 80's musical sensation to the world so monk had no choicee except to have music be his life. No one could understand his connection to the music not even his family except his Grandma Jones and his Mother Beverly jean also a saprano soloist with gospel opening up for Tremaine Hawkins and many other gospel greats. As monk grew older he would moved to live with his father and would be in the a studio environment from there on. At thirteen monk would played drums in a jazz ensemble at school both 7th and 8th grade playing recitals an performing in front of large crowds he would get a mixer for his 13th birthday and from there he would began his production workin wit the scraps that was givin. In the summer of 1994 a world reknown engineer by the name of Paul Hubert, a digital genuis working with the likes of "STING", "BOYZ II MEN", to the likes of Legendary Bay Area independent recording artist, "C-BO & KILLA TAY would introduce monk to the ASR 10 sequencer and after that day monk would persue his lifetime dream of Producing Heat. In 1994 monk would sign a exposure contract with JUS FAMILY RECORDS a label founded by WESTCOAST SUPER_ PRODUCER BILL" BOSKO" KANTE & northwest independent recording artist/promoter/ manager"COOL NUTZ".
