Funshock is rock. Soon available for free download—"Pull" is a demo from an EP (release date to be announced). Funshock is the latest production of singer-songwriter Molly Cherington. In 2008, after touring the United States and Canada with her guitar, Molly broke from folk to co-create with Michael Lloyd for The Film Dailies, an indie/pop/electronic band out of Denver that makes music and films. Colorado's Westword and Marquee Magazines immediately saw a bright future for the group based on its first release, "Staring Up at Giants Again" (2009). Shortly after release of the album, The Film Dailies short film, "SLED," took Grand Prize at REI's Outdoor Film Festival. The film was also an Official Selection of the International Adventure Film Festival. In 2010, The Dailies released ALIVE IN DENVER, a concert-length movie made of the project's October 3rd performance at The Walnut Room in the Mile High City. The movie was released at Denver's renowned Soiled Dove. As a singer, Molly is described by Colorado Music Buzz as one that "codifies beauty." She has a unique style that has been compared to singers covering the range from Bjork to Joni Mitchell. She has appeared in support of Erin McKeown, Chris Pureka and Andrea Gibson (she's appears on Gibson's 2009 release "Yellowbird"). Molly released an EP (March 2007) and her debut full-length album, OUR MINDS WERE MADE (December 2007). The Film Dailies will have new songs to share soon. And Funshock will also be giving you something to nestle in through your ear buds.
