by Mojo and the

Beatniks. This long-standing Sheffield

outfit are pretty much designed for

such an event and pulled it off with

aplomb. Heavy psyche.delic blues

were complemented by, amongst

other things, a didgeridoo, a harp

and towering frontman Matt Critchley,

whose frenzied presence helped build

things up to such a level of intensity

that the scene wouldn’t look out of

place on a Woodstock documentary."
