From a small city in the south west of England called Gloucester, Malaki Patterson aka M.N.P started pursuing his music career at the early age of 14, from Jamaican heritage his main influence is reggae but growing up with soul, hip hop and r'n'b he is influenced by a broad range of music genre’s.

By the time M.N.P reached 18 he was producing his own sound and working with local artists, releasing his first independent track when he was 19 called “Access Denied” featuring Sensation Combination gave him his first step into the music industry.

Later that year he appeared on the BBC in a documentary called “Shooting the mic” which led him to have a bigger following and good reputation for producing.

M.N.P funded his music career by promoting club events alongside Dread Mc bringing some of the biggest acts in the U.K urban music scene to Gloucester for the first time, where many of the events were filled to capacity.



M.N.P got straight back on the productions with a second release working with Rider Shafique, Mr.Melody (Black Canvas) and Pressure Drop a track called “Sunny Days Of June” officially released in Switzerland by File Wile introducing M.N.P into the European market. After a while M.N.P had been building up his profile by producing tracks on albums, mix-tapes, dvd’s and getting regular airplay on radio stations.

He is currently working with up and coming Artist Arianna www.myspace.com/ariannaofficial her album is due too release very soon which will be produced by M.N.P
