About LIFE

LIFE Ministries is made up of young people who are determined to point the souls of the broken and the lost to the Kingdom of God.

The vision of this ministry was given to Matthew McIntosh a young man with a passion for God and worship. When Matthew was younger he always wanted to lead a group, whether that is a choir or a small ensemble. Little did he know what God had planned for his life. Not only did God bless him with the skills to lead and manage a group, but He also gave him a heart to start a movement.

As for choosing the members of LIFE, that was up to God. Each member was specifically shown to Matthew by God for a reason. Every member is equipped with different skills that bring the ministry together, and with talents that can be used as outlets for the kingdom of God.

After bringing six complete strangers together, the ministry of LIFE was officially assembled in July of 2011. In 2012 the ministry grew to twelve singers and six band members. Surprised at how cooperative everyone was, eighteen new friendships were formed.

Every member of LIFE has the same purpose, to spread the gospel through different outlets so the world will know that there is LIFE in Jesus Christ. John 14:6 is the scripture that LIFE clings to "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." [NKJV]

Living In Freedom Eternally -- Is what LIFE stands for. The logo is a tree. Trees play an important role in producing oxygen and reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as well as moderating ground temperatures.

As a group, Matthew and LIFE thrive to be Atmosphere Changers - creating an atmosphere that will cause breakthroughs, healing, salvation, deliverance and freedom through prayer, or different forms of praise and worship. Matthew McIntosh and LIFE is fully devoted to sharing the redemptive work of Jesus Christ to every person the ministry encounters. In July 2013, the group won "Fan Favorite Artist of the Year" at the Canadian Glass Awards.
