Mistress Jen is a fantasy character –an alter-ego, if you will. A mild-mannered office worker by day and a raucous, debaucherous, bawdy, gutter-lounge punk cabaret show by night. Mistress Jen plays keyboard and sings funny filthy songs in a campy burlesque style. And she is well-known for her signature on-stage move of propping a leg up on the keyboard. Songs about sex, drugs, rock and roll, anger, romance, drama, conflict and everything in between. Her ballsy lyrical style is similar to other guttermouth female indie goddesses such as Peaches and Liz Phair. Mistress Jen has toured all over Canada, had top-ten college radio placements, and plays many different venues both solo and with a full rhythm section with a rotating cast of stellar musicians.

Reviews
""Now that you're mine, I'm going to do what I want with you. Just call me Mistress Jen." That's pretty much the theme of the 10 tunes on this dominatrix-with-an-organ's latest. Backed by an A-list of willing musical slaves, this is quality, not campy, gutter lounge. " - Stuart Derdeyn, The Vancouver Province
"Bringing a brand of gutter lounge that jumbles S&M with derisive social commentary and even a country song thrown in for zest, Mistress Jen is an extraordinarily strange, albeit fun, girl." Erica Leduc, Exclaim Magazine (read full article)
Mistress Jen's first CD, Naked Organ, a solo recording, is only available via merch at live shows and at Redcat.
"Once she gets behind her keyboard, and all the quirky sounds she has at her disposal, she'll leave you dumbstruck ,yet thoroughly entertained." Mark Bignell, Columbia Journal (read full article)
Mistress Jen also plays keyboards with various other bands, artists around town. She just finished recording keys with The East Vamps, plays "Dave Greenfield" in The Manglers Canada's only Stranglers tribute band, and "Jimmy Destri" in Parallel Lines, the Blondie Tribute.
