Reddbone is easily one of the best female emcees in the game. Born and raised in Detroit, MI (7 mile nigga!), she has been representing on the Detroit scene since the early days of the Rhythm Kitchen and the legendary Hip-Hop Shop. Initially, she was known around Detroit as Miss Dameana and did several guest appearances with Detroit artists such as Rock Bottom and Da Omen. Shortly after, she joined the Trumptight crew that worked with the duo the Rabeez. In 2001, she joined the elite rhyme crew Raw Collection alongside Bareda, Lodown, and the Executive Board. Being the only female holding her own amongst four male emcees, she was recognized as the Best Female Emcee at the 2004 Detroit Rap.com awards. The song "Talk That Shit Now" by Raw Collection was awarded song of the year and the Raw C album "Private Circle" won for Album of The Year at the Detroit Hip Hop awards. Throughout her musical career, she has opened for an impressive selection of industry heavyweights including Jay-Z, Ludacris, D12, Jadakiss, Music Soulchild, The Clipse, Royce 5'9 and many more. Her musical linneage is strong as her brother, Swifty McVay is a member of the multi-platinum group D12, and her cousin Spanky Hayes is a regular on the highly rated Wildin Out on MTV. She was a selected guest host on the Serch In The AM show, filling in for Co-Co alongside MC Serch and Foolish. Along with recording, Reddbone has been using her dynamic personality in both television and film. She is currently the host of RAPFILES TV, which airs weekdays throughout Michigan, used to host Comcast's Hip Hop news and made appearances in several upcoming independent films including "Brewster's Projects" - "MVP" - "17000 Block" and Trick-Trick's "The People Vs." She was also seen in many videos including Obie Trice's videos "Cry Now" and "Got Some Teeth" - Proof's "Girlz Wit Tha Boom" and Trick Trick's "My Name Is Trick Trick" where she was prominently featured.
