Missfortune

Missfortune is a brand new band that rose from the ashes of the flemish punkrock gang Sweet Poison. Missfortune mixes it's Orange County punkrock roots with seventies glamrock and powerpop influences, adding truckloads of the catchiest melodies. To get the picture, think Social Distortion with female vocals, mixed with some Blondie and a touch of Turbonegro on a mad denim day. Leading lady Kim (Mike Ness' and Debbie Harry's twisted little daughter ?) is doing what few have done before: an angel singing to beelzebub's music - or perhaps just the devil in disguise? Missfortune's songs are all about - guess what - misfortune, pain, sorrow, heartbreak - and a whole lot of bad attitude. Their live show is. well wait and see for yourself ! But be reassured, with experience in bands like Sweet Poison, Southern Voodoo and Crosstown Traffic, these boyz and dollz sure know how to hit the scene with a blast - and blow your mind!
