Highlights from Misha's artist career include opening for country artist Lee Ann Womack and performing as a supporting act for Girls Aloud on their 15-date Greatest Hits UK Arena Tour throughout England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales. Misha teamed up with Avex Group, Japan's largest independent record label, releasing her debut guitar pop album "Take It Like It Is" and single "Unexpectedly" as the theme song for the Japanese motion picture "Strings." She has performed at over a hundred radio, press and television interviews and appearances throughout the UK & Japan.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Songwriting and Music Business from Belmont University and an Associate's Degree in Audio Recording, Misha has expanded her repertoire to include professional experience in the music publishing and administration field. She has been privileged to work closely with song catalogs from some of Nashville's most esteemed writers, including Toby Keith, Mac McAnally and Craig Wiseman, while working at TKO Artist Management and interning at Big Loud Bucks. Misha aspires to develop new talent and start her own publishing company in the near future.
Misha has also been recognized as a songwriter in major song competitions, including The John Lennon Songwriting Contest, The Billboard World Song Contest, The NSAI/CMT Song Contest, The Unisong International Songwriting Contest, The Great American Song Contest, The International Songwriting Competition, and the Song of the Year Songwriting Competition. Her songs have sold over a quarter of a million units worldwide.
