2001 – Misery Inc. is founded by Janne Tolonen (guitar), Joonas Kauppinen (drums) and Jukka Keisala (bass) in October.

2001 – Singer Jukkis Huuhtanen and lead guitarist Teemu Ylämäki join the band.

2001 – Release of the first independent demo “Chains” that include three songs.

2002 – Release of the second independent demo “For Your Misery Only” that include three songs.

2003 – Release of the third independent demo “Suicide Serenade” that include five songs.

2003 – Record deal with German record label ZYX Music.

2003 – Release of the debut album “Yesterday’s Grave”. Album receives amazing feedback all over the metal media.

2004 – Jules Näveri (vocals) joins the band.

2005 – In the summer Misery Inc. signs a deal with Finnish record label Firebox Records.

2005 – Jukkis and Jukka leave the band and Niko Mankinen (vocals) and Aki Heikinheimo (bass) is recruited.

2006 – Music video is shot for the song Fallen Rage. Video is on Inferno Magazine’s DVD.

2006 – Release of the second album “Random End” in February.

2006 – First gig outside of Finland on July 8th in Smiltene, Latvia

2006 – In November Misery Inc. warms up for Arch Enemy at Nosturi, Helsinki.

2006 – 31 gigs played.

2007 – Jules leaves the band and seeking for the new singer begins.

2007 – Tommi Niemi (vocals) joins the band.

2007 – Misery Inc. inks a deal with Finnish record label Johanna Kustannus.

2007 – First official single “Modern Day Human Waste” clinches the spot #19 in the Finnish singles top-20 chart in September.

2007 – Release of the third album “BreedGreedBreed” in October.

2007 – October 16th Misery Inc. warms up for Killswitch Engage at Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki.

2007 – In October 30th Misery Inc. informs that Tommi Niemi is out of the band and Mikko Herranen will handle the vocal duties.

2007 – Misery Inc. performs on Dimebag Beyond Forever Tour 2007 in the end of November and in the beginning of December.

2007 – 27 gigs.

2008 – February 16th the band informs that Mikko Herranen is now an official member of the band.

2008 – Firebox Records publishes “Yesterday’s Grave Re-Issue” that includes all the three independent demos.

2008 – September 15th band announces that Misery Inc. has come to an end due to many member changes.
