Perfidy de Licious and JJ Shonshay began their rapping adventures in the summer of 2005, inspired by a mutual love of Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams. They recorded a few songs with topics ranging from internet hook-ups to America's Next Top Model's Ebony Taylor. This led to press on some blogs-- including Arjan Writes, LOGO's New Next Now, Towleroad, The Malcontent, and Queerty.

After JJ was released from the evil grasps of "college", the Boiyz reemerged with a new attitude and a new single, "Stop Sucking Dick". Throughout the country, individuals began to spit penises out of their mouth, put capes on their backs, and stop criminals from doing no-good deeds. Throughout their life-saving endeavors, these individuals consistently managed to shake their asses.

"Celebcrushaaah" was the next release, a song which pays tributes to some celebrities that might make you tingly in the pants. JJ shows his love for Mark Ruffalo, stating "Do it thirteen times, we'll be going on thirty." PdL revisits his childhood crush for Fievel Mousekewitz, expressing the desire to make each of his nights a Hannukah. This song also marks the introduction of Girl, who recites lyrics written by the wondrous Sojourner "You Can't Handle the" Truth (diaryofamadblacktress.blogspot.com).

In November of 2007 the Boiyz ventured to Philly for their first show since April 2006. This marked the beginnings of a beautiful friendship with two of Philly's greatest hip-hop duos-- Sgt. Sass and Girlz on Bikes. The Boiyz felt so much brotherly love that they jumped at the invitation to return for more. Their second performance was performed entirely over MIDIs of pop songs, inspiring them to record a MIDI mix of "Stop" over The Cure's "Close to Me".

On a visit to Brooklyn, Lady Friend of Girlz on Bikes laid down some sisterly love on the newest track by the Boiyz, "House Party (Cute Cute Awesome Awesome)". While the Boiyz are pretty great, the song is blatantly cuter and more awesome due to her presence.

So what's in the future for the Boiyz? Perfidy will soon be releasing his solo album "Stop Means Go", as well as a single for his song "We Get Tired". Shortly after this, the Boiyz will be releasing the "THU Fuzzy Poster" EP, a collection of four songs about animals and kites. More collaborations are planned with the Philly brigade, among others. The Boiyz are also planning to play their first show ever on their home turf, so keep your eyes and ears prepared New York City!

Due to an error when registering (in which a non-existent e-mail was used to do so), the Boiyz can be rather bad at checking this space. If you have any inquiries about booking, getting mp3s of the tunes, collaborations, etc. please contact JJ or PdL at their personal profiles below.
