Hiphopotamus is a social conscious, positive band that mixes hip hop with a live band. It is a perfect mixture of rap with live instruments and a turntablist. Old School, new school, trip hop, underground, rock, jazz, funk; we are influenced by everything and refuse to fall into one sound.



Featuring the long time rhythm section of Kevin Lantz and Tip Toasty from the band Goodbye Mind, the poetic rhymes and flowing style of Raymond Conde, The guitar of Aaron Davis, and the hypnotic scratches and samples from DJ Steve, host of 91.3 FM's Saturday Night Trip.
