Mind Altering Substance

Mind Altering Substance were an Electro-Industrial duo consisting of Brandon Dai Cahal (Vocals/Noise/Art) and Ryan McCarthy (Composition/Production). They were active from 2003 until 2007. Although they have only released one album in that time and never gained widespread recognition, they have been said to be influential to many larger industrial acts. Their sound was truly one of a kind. Since they disbanded in 2007, Brandon and Ryan have become involved in other musical projects. Brandon is currently pursuing an acclaimed solo project "A Field Of Black Orchids".

Ryan is currently writing and producing the upcomming album for "Margin of Error"
