Mimes of Wine were born on a cold night of winter 2005 when Amir made a beautiful drawing and Laura decided to keep it for a name and a vest.
She wrote all the songs in the following three winters, between California, Bologna, and Paris. The day she finally recorded them, some of her friends have been really precious to her, becoming this way Mimes of Wine as well. She is particularly grateful to Enzo, Luca, Gian Andrea, Daniele, Adriano, and Elisabeth, for their contribution on the first record.
Laura has played around California in 2007-2008, with a ghost violin, a ghost stand up bass, and many times with other beautiful musicians.
In 2010, Mimes of Wine left for a Italian and European tour (Laura, Stefano, Luca and Riccardo); Laura is currently working on new songs, and waiting to be travelling soon again.
