WELCOME TO MILESTONE.
First established in mid 2005, MILESTONE has been performing for nearly four years, and doesnt plan ing anytime soon.
Altough they have gone through a number of changes in their line up, it has always been for the better of the band. Despite this fact, the driving force behind this group remains the same, Lucky Lampley. His writting has only gotten better with time and will only continue to do so. He is refining his craft and making a place for, "MILESTONE" in rock and roll history.
With three EP's released, two of which out of print, and their first full length slated to be released in summer of 2010. Milestone has shown dedication, determination, and such an honest love for what they do, their full length record tittled, "broken picks, and shattered sticks" will no doubt trump their previous releases with ease, and only set the bar higher for all other south bay bands.
With the mixture of heart felt words, driving distortion, thunderous drums, deep groving bass lines,melodic hooks, and a high level of skill, Milestone has been compared with such band as:
Social distortion, Face to Face, The decendents, Bad relgion, No use for a name, just to name a few.
In this writters opinion, Milestone has got all the proper tools to build a rock and roll legacy that will stand the test of time. I cant wait for the new record. In fact I' ve been promised by Mr. Lampley himself one of the first copies.
