Recorded off the radio to a reel-to-reel recorder in August 1962 and then dubbed onto cassette in the 1970s, the fidelity on this is not up to modern standards. However, the historical value far outweighs the audio quality. From Rollerland in Plattsburgh, NY, Mike & The Ravens perform a famous instrumental of the day. Mike Brassard: vocals, Bo Blodgett: lead guitar, Steve Blodgett: rhythm guitar, Brian Lyford: bass, Peter Young: drums. The end of the tape hears WIRY DJ, Gordie Little, who acted as MC at Rollerland, reacting to the band's performance.
