MK: this caused me no small amount of guilt over the years because when I wrote it, it's about a teenage girl obsessed with El DeBarge.
この歌はここ何年かかなり罪を感じてる。書いた当時、これはエル・デバージの熱狂ファンである十代の少女について書いたんです。
I wrote it in 80's. The 80's! At the point, DeBarge kind of represented wholesomeness and there was no controversial about them.
８０年代に書いたんですよ。（笑）あの８０年代！あの時、デバージは健全なアイドルを代表してる感じで不祥事などとは無縁だったんです。
So I wrote this song about this girl who's imagining all kinds horrible things happening to the life of El DeBarge but I heard no one said anything was wrong with El DeBarge's life.
それで、エル・デバージの身の上にいろいろな酷い事が起こっているのではないかと想像をめぐらせている少女について書いたわけです。でもエル・デバージに本当に何かが起こっているとは知らなかったんですよ。
And I guess, he's..like everyone, been encountering difficulities in his life, I feel somewhat responsible because I put the energy of the song. Wanna apologize because I have to play again.
