Mikas has been actively implicated in the electronic dance music scene since the early 90’s, both as a promoter a DJ and now, to add to the roster, a music producer and a label owner.



In 2005, he created Progressive Grooves Records. From that time, the label successfully conquered the DJ boots and hearts of dance music lovers all around the world.

His unique sound has gained support from international top DJ’s include Fedde le Grand, Hybrid, Underworld (Chris Source), Timo Maas, Marco V, Jerome Isma Ae, Roger Shah, Dave Seaman, Gareth Emery and Sasha among others.



In the past 3 years his music charted top sales on popular music sites including Beatport.com, juno.co.uk, Itunes.com, Resonantvibes.com, djdownload.com and trackitdown.com. With over 25,000 single song sales in 2009, Mikas is currently establishing himself as one of the most successful electronic music artists in Canada.



Mikas showcases a unique live DJ performance using the advanced technology of Traktor Pro and an Allen and Heath Xone 4D , also used by Ritchie Hawtin, Deadmau5 and Carl Cox. He entertains with genre bending tunes, mind blowing grooves and live remixing.



Mikas’ “Forward Ep” will be released this spring and includes remixes by Germany Martin Roth and Spanish Duo Riktam And Bansi.
