Micky Rich is one of Japan’s top Dancehall artists. From a small club event to the Japan’s biggest Reggae festival with 30,000 audiences, his performance busses up all around Japan. His tunes are sung by youths at Karaoke, and he can be seen on a several music channels on TV. In recent years, he also works as an icon for urban fashion industry. His appearance in various ads can be found in Shibuya, the center of Japan’s urban music and fashion.

Micky Rich was born and raised in a Japanese project called Danchi in Shitamachi, an underworld section of East Tokyo. During his high school time, he first started his career as one of DJs for an Asakusa based sound crew Racy Bullet. Then in 1999, he alongside Ken-U and Domino-Kat formed a group Ent Deal League and they moved up to the very frontline of Japanese Dancehall industry. Since then, Micky Rich as a singjay of EDL has gained fame nation-wide for his skillful MC, and the group is now published as of the most popular Dancehall Reggae groups in Japan.
