Born in New York, Ciro studied jazz and composition at Bridgeport University. He has since gone on to record and/or tour with many major recording artists in many different genres. He is currently the musical director for Warner recording and 17 time Grammy Award winning artist Alejandro Sanz, while also busy writing, recording and producing various styles of music. Although he has performed, directed and recorded with many artists, he was also signed as an artist to Epic Records. Michael continues to appear on major recordings with various artists as well as television and concert appearances. In a production capacity Ciro has worked with Eamon, Sara Devine, Corey Glover, DeLouie Avant, Dakota Moon, Sybel. He has recorded with Alicia Keys, Alejandro Sanz, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross, Notorious B.I.G., Pharoe Monch, Ricky Martin,Raheem DeVaughn, Jill Scott, James Ingram, Foxy Brown, Jazzy Jeff, Stephanie Mills, Spice Girls, The Family Stand, Masters At Work, Kellie Sae, Roy Ayers etc the list is too long to continue. Ciro has toured or performed with many of these artist as well as Tony Braxton, Stevie Wonder,Michael McDonald,Stanley Clarke, George Duke,Lenny White, John Legend, Force MDs, David Sanborn, Freddie Jackson, Bobby Brown, Patti Labelle, Little Richard, David Bowie, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Patti Austin, Pru, Destinys Child, Jody Watley, etc. He also has film score credits to his name including the 2004 release "The Woodsman" starring Kevin Bacon and Mos Def. This movie features a song co-written(with Sara Devine) and produced by him called "Ruff Edges". Ciro also has a song in the 2007 Sony Pictures release "Stomp The Yard" starring Ne-Yo and Meagan Good co-written(with Fire) and produced by him called "Electric". Ciro currently resides in New Jersey and continues to write, record, produce and perform.
