Miacarla

Gold Coast (Australia) based rock/pop act Miacarla are just part of the same old story, really. Five friends who had a common interest and formed a band, released a few EP's (2007 & 2009) in which both lead singles 'The Search' &'Get Up!' (respectively) were nominated for MusicOz Awards, built a name and then like most relationships – fell apart.
Fast forward two years which included a writing stint in the USA, a few different member changes, and a year of songwriting to find a new voice; Miacarla are returning with a fresh & powerful, more youthful, refined sound.
No strangers to the touring & festival circuit with multiple Australian tours on past releases with highlights on the 2007 Taste of Chaos & 2008 Big Day Out tours, Miacarla are eager to be back on the circuit plugging their brand new single 'Same Old Story' which was produced by Matt Bartlem & Tyse Lee (Dead Letter Circus/Nine Sons Of Dan) and Mixed by JR McNeely (Paramore/Anberlin/Relient K).
Same Old Story is set for digital release June 2012.
