Mezklah’s international debut album, “SpiderMonkey” (Escuchalo Records), breaks the traditional rules of language and song structure with tracks that flow between languages and genre seamlessly.



In addition to frequent touring in the United States, they have already completed a successful European tour.



Mezklah performed in front of 20,000 people at La Seria del Libro Festival in Mexico City’s famed Zocalo square. Mezklah has played with renowned artists Ozomotli, Kinky, Maldita Vecindad and Antibalas, as well as gained a fan in Ry Cooder who asked Mezklah to do a track for a future compilation covering different genres of music from Los Angeles.



Angel Garcia (vocals) and Greg Hernandez (guitar) are the visionaries who comprise the much heralded Los Angeles-based, Mezklah. By blending drum-n’-bass, cumbia, trip hop and afro-Cuban beats they create a unique style of music.
